life woke me up...
i've had a number of problems in my time, all of which have come to a head in the last 6-8 months, all of which have made me take a close look at the person i've become... and its not a pretty picture.
something i'm now attempting to change.
i've wanted this blog to be many things, regular being one of them. all of those things, to be honest, were just distraction. this blog will now just be a record of my artwork as i attempt to be myself, none of the other things i was desperate to try and be.
i'm not saying it will be regular, but there will be updates. stay with me, you may just be surprised.
finally, i read a great and simple quote recently. when Michelangelo was asked how you go about sculpting something as beautiful as david.
his reply, although i'm sure not word for word, was
"you just chip away the parts that are not david"
how true that is for finding ourselves in amongst the huge block of stone we wrap ourselves in as a defense. its not an over night process, but if we slowly remove those things we dont see as being the person we want or thought we would, eventually we will be closer to something that resembles the person we would like to be.

Hello
I come from time to time since I meet you some years ago in Granada Convention (Spain).
It´s great to know you are trying to restart the blog again, I´m going to pass regularly to see how it goes.
Keep the good work in Wildcats and we want more of your art
By the way, some way to buy your original art??
Neil,
I'm the cunt who gave you a complement last summer, and you sketched Bazooka on your name card. Then, Like a Dumshit, I watched you draw an amazing Ladytron, and asked for a Bazooka on my Jam piece. I'm learning not to be a dumbshit.
As for your Wildcats. Please use bigger paper so it doesn't look so muddled. I know what you're capable of.
Lastly. I'm not sure what personal stuff's going on. Won't even guess, but you've got an amazing tallent.
Stop fucking around and really show it off.
Later,
M
hello neil,
Are you selling your welcome to tranquility art by any chance?
Also do you do commissions?
I hope you're doing better these days, man. I miss talking to you.
